Rusty. It felt good to sit in the cafeteria and draw a little bit before class.
I know I’ve been saying that I’d start posting here again, but below are the first sketches in months, maybe since September of last year.
I think I may have color corrected the yellow out of these Moleskin pages, so I’ll try not to do that next time.

I did say I would re-open this blog on December 1st, but there are still no drawings or sketches up here. At least we have Muppets.

You probably think I’m some kind of slacker, but there have been some interesting developments lately that have put this art blog on hold. I didn’t want it that way, but that’s the way life goes sometimes. I was going to include the address of my semi-secret blog to keep you busy in the meantime, but you don’t need to bother reading all those posts about insomnia, cooking, mystical dragons, not going to Comic-Con, culinary classes, going to bars, internet tidbits, jumping on yachts with strange women, waiting too long to buy comic books, learning how to read, etc. Just keep checking here to see examples of what happens when you neglect drawing and painting for months.
The current name of this blog may or may not stick, but I found it appropriate with the insomnia of late. You have to admit it’s a lot better than :{ which was supposed to be me with a mustache that I’ll never grow.
I’m making changes to this blog and doing some housekeeping on the server that may result in me deleting all previous posts. It will reopen soon. Maybe 9-9-09, but there’s that movie 9 opening that day, so probably not that date. Maybe the first day of Autumn which is 9-22-09.
