Please go to the new home of this blog over at http://chrismendoza.net/blog/ and click on the feed button (or the Google chicklet if you use Google Reader) because starting Wednesday, October 1st, 2008 all of the fun and hard work move to that address. It’s like starting a new sketchbook and throwing the other one the closet or in a bonfire. I’m also moving it because “Eat. Draw. Eat.” wasn’t very catchy or easy to say.
I had friends come up to me and they would have trouble remembering what it was called or they’d just mumble it because they thought it was a bad title for a blog. Now, because I’ve just typed in a couple of pieces of punctuation, they can just say, “Hey, you’ve been posting five awesome drawings a day on your blog. Good for you! How do you find the time to post when you’re so busy with freelance illustration and painting and comic books and starting a new animation company that makes movies that all other American studios are too scared to produce?”
“I’ve just improved my time management skills,” I’d say.
Then Natalie Portman who’s standing next to my friend would say, “By the way, Chris, my friend over there wants to meet you.”
“Sure. No problem, Natalie. Oh, and thanks again for inviting me to your place for dinner last week. I had a great time.”
She’d just blush a little and play with her hair.
Her friend comes over, “Hi, my name is Megan Fox.”
“Nice to meet you Megan Fox.”
See. I told you changing the name of the blog would work!
