For the sake of sanity

I posted a bulletin the other day on MySpace that I wanted to reduce the amount of internet clutter in my life by deleting my account which I rarely checked anyway. I just did that, and it was pretty satisfying. To follow that up, I remembered that I had a Comic Space account that was going unused. Now, that’s gone, too. Having those accounts seemed like a good idea at one time, but there just aren’t enough hours in the day, and if the point was to promote art, which I’m not really making right now, I hardly see the point in having those things floating around the internet. There may be a few other things that have to go in the next week, but those will have to wait for now. What’s really important is getting back to drawing and painting now that I have my weekends free again.

I just checked over at my shared blog with Adrian, and he’s already put up a couple of posts for December that have to do with the new Blade Runner: The Final Cut. I think he went to see it last night, but I have yet to see a movie since the showing of Serenity at Piedmont Theater in Oakland. Still have to catch No Country for Old Men and American Gangster and…?
