Once I ran the first page through the machine, I realized how light I had penciled these onto the watercolor paper. Hopefully, they’re enough for Rivero to ink; they were handed off to him tonight. At least things are looking good for the upcoming deadline. Adrian says he has some layouts for the splash which has been a bit tricky. I’ll do one more version and see how it works out.
It’s pretty exciting to do a full collaboration after all these years of drawing on our own, and the finished art should be unique considering that we don’t have the same methods and style.

good luck getting any solid lines out of Riv. seriously, I want to see what this brainchild your coupling will make; I think it’ll be great.
He’s inked more more than 95% of the panels already and completed half of the washes, and they look good! I couldn’t have stayed on a decent schedule without his help. We should have been better about showing Joe all the stages of the work, but we’ll be better about that next time.
Thanks for checking out the site again, Andy.
