More PS experimentation. Doing this reminded me of some exercise that an illustration teacher would have us do where you build up from a variety of marks and slowly find focus. Lately, I’ve been trying to block in large areas of black with various brushes. I didn’t see the face and arms until I drew with the lasso selection tool and inverted some of the image. Below is the finished piece.

This one is like a Rorschach test. I started crying and crapping myself all at once until I figured out it was a good childhood memory I was having.
You passed the test, so now you just have to sit in your own feces for an hour to get the certificate of completion.
I want to see if I can bring over this kind of palette and composition to oils or acrylics just to experiment and get away from the usual subject matter. Matter. Batter. Batroc the Leaper. Say it 12 times for good luck.
