I had created a RedBubble store to try and sell a t-shirt design, but after ordering a greeting card from them to check the quality of the product I decided not to keep that online store open. Not because it was bad quality but because I never got it in the mail. Now, I’m not bashing this company at all; I wasn’t even upset. I’ve only read positive reviews of their products, and there are some talented folks selling stuff there. Their customer service was very quick to respond to emails and even refunded my money right away. I just figured that they were based in Australia and I didn’t want customers to wait too long or have to pay high shipping fees. If I was better at self-promotion, lived in Australia, and if I was more patient, I probably would have stuck with them longer. So what now?
I’m submitting the design to Threadless in hopes that it will result in cold, hard cash. I know there are no guarantees, and I might need to rework it this week, but at least I’ll get some input (hopefully).
