Dear Blog,

[I know you don't like being called "blog."  Sorry.]

Lately, I’ve been neglecting you.  I’m liked one of those extremely dumb mothers that goes to her day job at the strip club and leaves her poor baby inside of a car that reaches 100 degrees thinking things will be okay as long as the windows are cracked open.  No, I don’t find any of that the least bit funny, and I don’t find my lack of posts here hilarious either.

This message is my feeble attempt at an apology.  I know it would mean more to you, blog, if I actually posted a drawing, maybe even a photo.  One will be up very soon.

Remember last April when I posted every day?  I do, and I’ll try to live closer to those standards from here on out.  Yes.  There’s a possibility that you’ll have a new name soon (we’ve talked about it for months), and maybe even a new directory on my domain (only if there are changes to your style sheet even though you’re already very stylish).  Whatever happens from here on out, just know that I’ll try harder.  The honeymoon isn’t over yet, sugar.

(This is where some people put those hearts made out of punctuation and numbers.  I can’t bring myself to cheapen my feelings.)

Chris

Mommy! I love you, and I know you only strip to pay for the internet connection so we can be together.

    Love,

    Your Little Bloggy

Here’s proof that it’s alive. It was like starring in a modern, Spike-TV version of the Twilight Zone, believing that I was the only one to hear the blog’s thoughts & words. Take this as proof, World.

And to you EDE… thanks for writing “love” twice. Some of those poor souls out there never get to read those words in their blog comments.

Hey, I know some strippers who are mothers, and they do not leave their babies inside the car! They leave them with their own mothers.

Hi Blog, whatcha doin tonight? Wanna hang out?

Your empty promises are getting painful to watch.

I know, Matt. Believe me. I know.

I guess I’m too busy reading yours and everyone else’s.

At least put a sketch up or something. You are hurting my heart.
