So I’ll let the secret out. I was fighting for my life with a demented man in black armor, and my right hand (the one I draw with) got cut off. I mean, “GOT CUT OFF!” Without a bucket of ice close by, the hand was gone for good, so it was replaced by one of those fancy robot hands like the one Luke Skywalker got at the end of The Empire Strikes Back.
I’ve been trying to draw for the past three weeks, but this new appendage is much stronger than the previous one, leaving a lot of broken drawing implements strewn about my desk and floor. The wonders of technology.
Now this thing is finally starting to do what it’s supposed to, and things will be moving along at a much more normal pace. By “things will be moving along,” I mean drawing, painting, and then posting about the pieces here. For now, I can offer you the start of an online gallery at my home page. A screen shot below (which you can also click) will give you an idea of the ground-breaking web design that my design bot has come up with. The hard-working android was free with purchase of the hand.
The acrylic paintings on canvas measure 20″ x 24″ each and were shot with a digital camera.
You’ll notice that I have yet another email address for contact purposes, but eat.draw.eat at gmail still works. I have too many email addresses. It’s like the problem I have with buying sketchbooks before they’re filled.
Thanks for continuing to check out this blog!
