For someone who’s tired of Star Wars, having the last two posts be about Star Wars doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.
Last night, I spent some time with my older nephew since my brother had to go to a parent/teacher meeting. We played chess, laser tag, and “lightsaber duel to the death.” I just made up that last name, but it’s pretty accurate. All of it was fun.
So after making a big stink about how the franchise just isn’t much fun anymore, I will say dueling with plastic laser swords is a good way to spend some quality time with family. And just so you know, I’m not the kind of uncle that lets the kids win, especially when they’re passed the age of six or seven. My nephew was thoroughly defeated in all the activities mentioned above! Take that!
