I was having problems with my rear derailleur (I don’t speak French) yesterday and was hoping that is was just a lot of dirt on the gears and chain, but after washing the bike, the problem still persisted. I don’t know the first thing about bike mechanics; ask lman1138. He was having problems getting into the big gear with his front derailleur not too long ago, and I didn’t know how to help him out.
So today, when I was ready to give up after watching lame internet video tutorials, I found this page. I found the adjusting barrel, followed the instructions, and now things started working fine! I think they are anyway. I’ll test it out tomorrow before I go for a ride. Thanks, Sheldon Brown. Rest In Peace.

So if it happens to me again, you’d bust out that knowledge?

You have a legion of robots??! I’d sacrifice this city to see them in action as long as you spare my friends and family. Vallejo’s a pretty boring place.
