What I do though, is fast forward to the scenes with the robots, because the rest of the movie annoying. I think now would be the time to compile my specific nitpicks with the Bayformers: Love: Optimus Prime / Hate: Flames Love: Transformations / Hate: Convoluted robot designs / Hate even more: Starscream and Megatron designs (at least their G1 personalities were somewhere in there) Love: Barricade / Hate: Frenzy as Barricade's annoying little gremlin that ejects from him as opposed to him being Soundwave's minion and Rumble's brother. Love: Megan Fox / Hate: Cheesy dialogue and slapstick comedy ("hide-and-seek" jokes for the kids, masturbation jokes for the teenagers (who also happen to be in the audience with the kids) Hate: Shaky camera action scenes. Isn't it bad enough already that we can't read the convoluted character designs? Hate: Jazz was the smallest Autobot (supposed to be Bumblebee) and that he, being the only "black" Autobot, got killed off very easily. I call Hollywood racism on that one. Hate: Optimus couldn't even hold a candle to Megatron (who in the movie is much bigger). The G1 series had these two evenly matched, and IMO close fights are much more fun to watch. In the 1986 animated movie they KILLED each other, for crissakes! Instead, Sam defeats Megatron... WITH THE ALL-SPARK?!?!? WHY COULDN'T THEY DO THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE INSTEAD OF BRINGING IT TO A HEAVILY POPULATED AREA AND CAUSING MANY CIVILIAN CASUALTIES?!?!? Hate: The humans defeated the Decepticons, therefore rendering the Autobots advanced weapons technology useless on Earth. Hate: All vehicle modes are GM, therefore making the movie a GM commercial. Hate: The tank Decepticon is supposed to be named "Brawl", not "Devastator"! On the name changing, I heard Bay simply say something like "But 'Devastator' sounds so much cooler!" Nothing says respect for the franchise better than that. Hate: Bumblebee doesn't have a mouth and when he finally speaks, he sounds like a British butler.
