Watching Transformers from 2007, and it’s as bad as I remember. The script is horrible, and there isn’t one person worth caring about except Mikaela Banes because that’s Megan Fox’s character. Thank the Cube for Megan Fox. Oh, and Rachael Taylor.
I’m looking at the script and screenplay credits, and I see that a couple of the writers currently work on Fringe, and they also wrote the new J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie coming out this year. I’m probably going to steer clear of watching another tv show even though some family have told me to give it a try. I’ll still give Star Trek a chance, but after wasting more of my life on the crapfest that is Transformers, skepticism on Captain Kirk and company’s reboot is at an all time high.
I’m might have to skip the scene with the tip-toeing Autobots that’s about to come up. Ugh.

What are you talking about? That house scene is the best part of the movie! It’s got everything!
- Hide-and-seek jokes for the kids!
- Masturbation jokes for the tweens!
- Clever word jokes: “We’ve got a blown transformer!” (Haha, get it?)
- Slapstick comedy: “Taco Bell” dog urinating on a Ironhide! (“Baaad Mojo!”)
- Drama: Optimus actually gets impatient with a human and Ironhide considers killing them.
- Racial equality: Jazz.
- Car commercial: A Chevy promo shot of their vehicle modes for car enthusiasts! (“This is not hiding!”)
- Awesome factor: Don’t forget the flames! Oh how I love flames.
No wonder it was over 10 minutes long! So much to soak in! I wish it were longer!
(If your sarcasm detector is broken, I suggest you fix it.)

Happy to say that I was not impressed when I saw it in the theater with my nephew. Though I did think they did a good job with the special effects.

I wish I was 10 again…
