What made me browse, I don’t know, but I looked at the real estate section of the San Francisco Chronicle yesterday and found three houses in Rockridge that I wish I could buy.
In ascending order, they are priced as follows: 1. $575,000 (only 2BR/1BA) 2. $599,000 3. $649,000.
Unfortunately, I can’t afford those prices or ones that are even a fraction of that. I can still imagine that of the three bedroom ones above could be mine, and one of the rooms could be turned into a studio where I can draw/paint with traditional media and digital ones.
Another few notables were less than $600K and in Berkeley, but by then, I had already decided to stop torturing myself.
SIGH…

I, too, have started the hunt/torture, using zillow.com and cyberhomes.com .
