I don’t know why I still try with these shoes. My right leg has been giving me trouble when I jog for a while now, so I switched to biking months ago because there’s no pain in my shin when I’m pedaling. Today, I tried putting on the running shoes again, and soon into the workout, I’m starting to feel it. I stop, and then try again. The problem persists, but after 10 to 15 minutes of jogging/walking, things actually improve. I go for two miles with no stopping, but near the last 0.3 miles…well, I’m sure you can guess. At one point, I was well on my way to being ready for a half-marathon. Damn. It.
So, I’m going to put it in writing for myself and say, “No more jogging for you until you get a new pair of running shoes. Period. Really. It’s a pain sometimes to load up the bike and all the necessary gear for that activity, but just do that.”
In positive news, I’ve posted eighty times on this blog. Now, I just need to do that for my art blog.
