I Guess Some People Say It That Way

I saw the phrase “in the internet” in a blog post today and never really noticed if people were using that preposition.  My instinct would be to say, “I saw it on the internet.”  It doesn’t really matter, but this is what blogs are for!  What do you use?

I guess we should be worrying about which of those words we’re using when we go on that second or third date.*  Get it??  This is where we high-five[!] in/on the internet.

Yeah, it’s not a high-five, but it’s the end of the month.  Let’s live a little.

*For those of you who are religious, please pray for my soul.   It needs a lot of help to escape damnation at this point .

Like the internet was standing there, looming over as you ate your Cinnamon Toast Crunch? Gives me goosebumps.
