Had a fun weekend with a couple of my friends’ significant others visiting.
Friday was a day of eating and melting in the 100+ degrees F temperatures in Vacaville, CA.
My niece’s birthday dinner on Saturday was held at a local Hawaiian/Filipino restaurant that has slightly overcooked my food everytime I’ve gone…not my choice. Did I mention that the inside of the restaurant was probably the hottest place in the Bay Area this weekend?
After dinner, I got dressed to go out with good friends that I’ve known for ages. A friend picked Project One in San Francisco not too far from where I attended college. How that neighborhood has improved… The night was fun, filled with beer, catching up, dancing, and of course, food that most of us needed. Too bad others couldn’t make it, but we’ll try again next time.
There are details, but it was just one of those weekends that will be easy to remember especially because they are becoming less frequent with everyone [besides me] becoming responsible, mature adults. Okay, mature is a stretch for some of the people I know!
