I believe I saw a ten dollar pizza stone at Target the other day, and I’m going to need one because today I made some basic pizza dough (recipe from my local library’s copy of Joy of Cooking) which is now enjoying a stay in my fridge. A pizza peel materialized the other day in the kitchen, so we’re covered there. Maybe I’ll get some fresh mozzarella, use the tomatoes that I got from Larry’s Produce, and throw some fresh basil on. I’m tempted to go a little healthier and top it off with some chicken breast, but one of them might have Italian sausage.
I should probably mention that Larry’s Produce in Fairfield is pretty great. I didn’t check if it was an organic farm, but one thing at a time I guess. They provide buckets and wheel barrows to transport your produce and veggies around the market!
