Why Bother Naming It?

I’ve almost given up on Facebook for many reasons (don’t you ever want to quit the internet cold turkey?), but to be honest, I find I can keep up with some folks that I genuinely like and that are just too far away.  I get to see the parties they go to and the babies they make and the food they eat.  Thankfully, none of the photos show all of those things happening at once.

Then there’s the whimsical aspect.  I just became “friends” with my cousin’s cat, Chippy.  They live in Australia, and I haven’t seen my cousin in four years.  I’ve never even met Chippy, but any cat who lies down on electronics and likes eating, sleeping, and playing is okay in my book.
