Why Bother Naming It?

No one told me (okay, I didn’t see the various signs telling me of this new feature) that ATMs don’t want deposits in envelopes anymore, and that these machines can now scan the cash or checks that you place into the proper slot.  Do I want a scanned image of the check on my receipt??  That’s pretty neat if you ask me.  Of course, the drawback to this are the few extra questions you get like, “Are you done with your deposit?  Would you like cream or sugar with that?”  Good thing the screens are touch screen now.
